Multiple donation values available – please specify when donating. We are the national organisation representing all hospice services in New Zealand. Our purpose is to lead and support the hospice movement in New Zealand. We work in partnership with all hospices to ensure people needing end of life hospice care are well supported. Hospice provides holistic wrap around care and support for people with a life limiting illness, and their whānau/family. Everything provided through our 32 hospices around the country is free of charge. 1 in 3 – 1 in 3 people who die in New Zealand each year are supported by Hospice. Last year, it cost more than $226 million to run the country’s hospice services, but the government only provided $114 million. Hospices raised $112 million from op shops, community donations, fundraising, grants, bequests, just to keep going. Every donation helps the Hospice movement. Important Details: 1. Points can be donated in amounts of 100, 500, 1,000, 3,000, 5,000 or 10,000. 2. All donations will be collated and made directly to the relevant charity on a monthly basis. 3. To avoid possible tax implications that may arise for members who seek to claim a tax credit for making their points donations, members will not be entitled to a receipt for the value of their points donation.
